Annie Spencer

Founder

Annie began creating content for Lighthouse Explorers in 2020 while completing her undergraduate degree in Archaeology at the University of Reading. What started as a passion project quickly grew into something much bigger, and she has loved seeing the community develop over the years. She is particularly proud of the group trips, launched in 2024, which bring people together to experience lighthouse heritage first-hand!

Hoden Ahmed

Volunteer Project Manager

Hoden joined the team in late 2025 and is now an integral part of Lighthouse Explorers. With a background in heritage and project management, she brings both expertise and infectious enthusiasm to the project. She plays a key role in organising our in-person events, helping to create welcoming, memorable experiences for everyone who joins us.
